Intex has revealed its new mid-range smartphone, dubbed Intex Aqua Curve, following a recent announcement of its Aqua Octa smartphone.

 

While the price and availability of the Intex Aqua Curve is not known yet, other specifications have been listed on the firm's official website.

 

The Intex Aqua Curve runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which also powers most of the handsets in the market. Along with dual-SIM support, the smartphone also features a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) display.

 

The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with a Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The camera options of Aqua Curve smartphone include an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting purposes.

 

Intex Aqua Curve comes with an 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone, along with 3G connectivity support, also includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB options along with GPS.

 

Aqua Curve is backed up by a 2,000mAh battery capacity and comes in three colour variants - Blue, Red and Black.

 

Intex recently introduced its Aqua Octa smartphone for Rs. 19,999. The Intex Aqua Octa is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with a 6-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD OGS (One-Glass Solution) IPS display. The Intex Aqua Octa is powered by the MediaTek's much-touted MT6592 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM.

 

The Intex Aqua Octa features 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD. The new phablet sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
