Applying Custom ROMs or Mods using CWM
IMPORTANT: Before anything u do related to flashing a new ROM, take a backup of your current working ROM on sd card using this CWM Recovery. So that if anything goes, you can always restore your phone to working condition.
Steps to Flash New ROM:
-- Download & Copy the ROM to your SD Card (any where on SD Card)
-- Reboot into Recovery (Vol+ power on)
-- Perform 'wipe data/factory reset'
-- Perform 'wipe cache partition'
-- Go to advanced and perform 'wipe dalvik cache' (try again if shows 'failed')
-- 'Go back' to main menu and 'install zip from SD Card'
-- Sd Card contents will open on screen, locate your ROM and select it.
-- Confirm execution using volume and power keys.
-- ROM flashing will start. UI will show process execution status and final status every time.
-- Finally will show message:
++All Done++
"Installing zip from sd card complete"
If you get any other message instead, please note it down and report to the ROM author.
-- Now 'Go Back' to main menu and perform 'reboot system now'
SYSTEM Will reboot normally with the new ROM installed...
